Nicki has had 3 stories commissioned by Twilight Tales, based in Chicago. The first story was used on their website when Nicki was a featured author. Story 2 appeared in the anthology "Daughter of Dangerous Dames" and story 3 appeared in the crime anthology "Blood and Donuts".

In addition Nicki's competition successes include...

-- "Lily the Pig" and "Letting Go", placed in the 2005 competition run by the BFS
-- "In His Charge", runner up in the 2006 competition run by the BFS
-- "Murder in the Library", runner up in a competition run by North Yorkshire
